Spotted this at UNC Chapel Hill’s campus during and after UNC SJP’s walkout for the West Bank on September 19, 2024. Autonomous activists apparently spray painted buildings with messages that condemn US imperialism and instead call for Palestinian liberation and divestment from the Zionist entity. Activists also removed the US flag from in front of the ROTC building on campus and replaced it with the Palestinian flag. They also defaced the ROTC building, which is not only a potent symbol of US empire but an active perpetrator of it.
